Kraus

My research interests are centered on the history of modern philosophy, especially Immanuel Kant, and on philosophy of mind and psychology. My current research concerns Kant's conception of empirical self-knowledge as well as the first-person perspective, including such issues as its special epistemic status, its relation to rationality, and its relevance for scientific psychology. I am also interested in general epistemology and philosophy of science.

As of January 1, 2017, Katharina Kraus is Assistant Professor at the University of Notre Dame. She continues to be involved in research at the University of Freiburg.
