Dr. Marc Andree Weber

stripe 6

I am fascinated by all areas of theoretical philosophy. My main fields of research have been metaphysics and epistemology, in particular the philosophy of persons, the method of thought experiments, and the phenomenon of vagueness. Currently, my major focus lies on the epistemology of disagreement and hence on the question under what circumstances (if there are any) the actual (or maybe even the merely possible) occurrence of a disagreement rationally requires us to revise a hitherto held belief. I have started writing a habilitation thesis on this subject.
