Dr. Melanie Fröhlich: Language Lecturer and Coordinator
Melanie Fröhlich holds a Master in Romance Literature, Linguistics and Culture from the University of Freiburg. In her subsequent Ph.D. thesis, received at the University of Potsdam, she investigated the work of twentieth-century Jewish novelist Albert Cohen. As Managing Director of the University's Frankreich-Zentrum and as a research associate at the University of Education, both based in Freiburg, Melanie was in charge of the organization and development of Franco-German Bachelor and Master programs. Her longstanding teaching experience in French as a Foreign Language is built on holding numerous courses on a variety of topics: General French, French for special purposes, Francophone literature as well as French society and culture.
At the UCF Melanie coordinates all language courses and is the person to direct first enquiries to concerning all language related matters.
