Dr. Sebastian Gehart: Core Lecturer
Sebastian Gehart studied political science with a focus on international affairs and governance in Hamburg, Germany, and St. Gallen, Switzerland. After five years as a policy analyst for Germany’s bilateral development agency Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), he returned to academia for doctoral research on multilateral efforts to improve the effectiveness of foreign aid and received a Ph.D. from the University of Warwick in the UK in 2014. Having previously taught classes on quantitative methods and use of statistical software applications in social science research, Sebastian joined the UCF as a lecturer in the LAS Core in October 2016.
